Narcissus 'Rijnvelds Earlv Sensation' is the earliest of the trumpet daffodils.
Breeding from the Netherlands dates from 1944. The stem is not very high, and the little flowers balanced structure is certainly surpassed by modern varieties. The value of the bulb is in its early heyday. This variety blooms four weeks before all other trumpet daffodils. In recent mild winters, the first flowers appear in mid-December.
