garden trip to England in the late summer
late August-early September 2010 starts a four-day garden tour in England, the garden will lead to selected destinations in the counties of Kent and Sussex.
We visit the grand old lady of English garden design Beth Chatto , its famous gravel garden and nursery. Great Dixter is the property of the garden book author Christoffer Lloyd, known for his unconventional, but effective use of color. The royal gardens RHS Garden Wisley are an institution. Here, a few years ago the Dutchman Piet Oudolf created large-scale plantation of shrubs.
Last but not least: Sissinghurst Castle , perhaps the world's most famous gardens, created by Vita Sackville-West. See the famous white garden and the Purple Border 'live'. The visit to Hever Castle and Garden and a city tour of London complete the program.
